DeveloperOffice SSO

Terms of Service

These terms govern your organization's use of DeveloperOffice SSO. They are written for the business customers who buy the service.

1. What the service is

DeveloperOffice SSO is a hosted single sign-on and identity service operated by DeveloperOffice of Colombo, Sri Lanka. It lets your organization (a "tenant") run one login for your people across your applications, using OAuth2 and OpenID Connect, with multi-factor authentication, passkeys, and an audit ledger. The service is sold to businesses only. We do not sell to consumers.

2. Accounts and tenants

Tenants are created by us, with you, during onboarding — there is no self-signup. You name the people who administer your tenant. You are responsible for what your administrators and users do, for keeping credentials secure, and for the accuracy of the account details you give us. Each end user's account belongs to your tenant, not to us; we hold it on your behalf.

3. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and as intended. Do not attempt to breach our isolation between tenants, probe or attack the infrastructure, reverse the security controls, resell or sublicense the service without our agreement, or use it to store or process content you have no right to. Do not overload the service or interfere with other tenants. We may act to protect the service and other customers if you break these rules.

4. Fees and payment

Pricing is a flat monthly fee for your tier, with no per-user metering. Prices are listed in USD; Sri Lankan tenants are invoiced in rounded LKR derived from the USD list. We generate and send you an invoice each month. Invoices are due on receipt, with 45 days' grace before an account is treated as past due.

If an invoice goes unpaid past its terms we flag the account and a person from DeveloperOffice contacts you. We do not automatically cut off your login. Suspension only happens after that human process, as a deliberate staff action — and even when a tenant is suspended, your administrators keep read-only access to your own console. We never hold your data hostage.

5. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and run it on Cloudflare's edge with a database hosted in Germany. At this stage we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee (SLA). Support is best-effort, by email, during business hours. A formal SLA and priority support are available by contract on the top tier. The service is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.

6. Intellectual property

The service, its software, and its branding remain ours. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own business while your subscription is active. Your data — your user accounts, configuration, logs, and content — remains yours. You grant us only the rights we need to operate the service for you.

7. Termination, export, and retention

Either of us may end the subscription on reasonable notice; we may suspend or terminate sooner for serious or unresolved breach. When a tenant closes, your data is retained for the retention period set on your tenant, so you can be reinstated within that window. After it expires we export and then delete your organization's data. Retention periods default by tier and can be set for your tenant by agreement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and the courts of Sri Lanka have jurisdiction over any dispute.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We will give tenants reasonable notice of material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
